Raspberry Pi:

Basically any Pi with Wi-Fi will work, however I have only tested with the Pi 3. 

Pi Zero models and the Pi 5 need further configuration to allow for analog audio out, whereas you can just use the headphone jack on the other models.

It would also be kind of a waste of a Pi 5 to use it for this basic project

For the Pi Zero models, choose either Zero W Solder or Zero 2 W Solder

SD Card:

I reccomend a 16GB microSD card, however 8GB should be fine as a minimum

Speakers and amplifier:

I used a cheap gaming soundbar from a local UK store (Home Bargains) and I couldn't find out which OEM made it, however I've linked their website to buy it, you could also buy many other soundbars with a volume knob and 50mm drivers, or wire up ones yourself. Make sure you use 50mm drivers
